Hello, I'm Jon! I’m already excited about your wedding day. I love photographing weddings and I believe that that passion is shown in the images I create.
Let me tell the story of your day in the most beautiful, authentic and creative way possible.
I work largely using a photo-journalistic approach, capturing the events of your wedding as they naturally unfold. Although, I’m just as happy working in a more structured way – setting up posed shots of the two of you.
I use natural, ambient light a lot – understanding how to use prevailing light to its best effect. That doesn’t mean I won’t use flash when necessary. Be it on-camera or triggered off-camera.
I do a lot of street photography, so I’m used to be sneaking around unseen and grabbing fleeting moments. I’ll blend in, just like one of the guests and you’ll see me on the dance floor camera in hand!
We can take a different approach to posed shots for you and your partner. A more creative, artistic style using off-camera flash, prisms, double exposures, and LED lights. These are all in my bag of tricks to create some unique, memorable imagery of you both.
A few things about me…
I’m a tennis obsessive – both playing and watching. Wimbledon is my favourite time of the year.
Andre Agassi wore a wig
I’m a bass guitarist. I went to The Institute music school in Kilburn, wrote for bass guitar magazine and demo’d for MusicMan guitars.
Slappa da bass man
I can juggle fire sticks and diabolos. I once burnt my eyebrow off in a juggling related incident.
Circus skillz
I can speak pretty decent Swedish.
I lived in Stockholm for 3 years.
